He organized the transfer of literature in geology from the National Library and the Ministry of Commerce to Sofia University with a royal decree. The library collections gradually grew in size and now include donated private libraries of Prof. Georgi Zlatarski, Prof. Stefan Bonchev, Prof. Peter Bakalov and other prominent Bulgarian geologists.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today the library maintains the richest library collection on the Balkans in General Geology, Tectonics, Palaeontology, Stratigraphy, Coal, Oil and Natural Gas.
