The electronic card of Sofia University can be used as a library card for the University Library. More information on how to apply for an electronic card can be found at the following link my.isic.bg
All students who do not have a Sofia University electronic card have to register as library users at the beginning of the academic year. In order to obtain a library user card, students must present a valid student book.
The registration of library users takes place in the Central University Library from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
Faculty members, PhD students, students and staff members of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” must pay the price of the card and can use it for a long period of time. The card grants access to the services and resources of the Central University Library and its entire network of 27 branch libraries. Cards are renewed annually free of charge.
Students of Sofia University are allowed to borrow materials for home use only from the branch libraries. External users cannot borrow library materials for home use.
Readers who are not affiliated with Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” may use the University Library’s collection through a valid annual reader’s card. The price of a reader’s card for all categories of external readers is 10,00 € / 19,56 BGN, and for a single visit to the library, a one-day reader’s card costs 1.00 € / 1.96 BGN.
