The University Library’s new digital collections management platform has been integrated with the Bulgarian Open Science Portal (https://bpos.bg/) since the beginning of May 2025.

The data is being updated every day. The number approaches 13 000 resources. Periodically, publications will also be indexed by the European Open Science portal OpenAIRE (https://explore.openaire.eu/).
The University Library continues to support Open Science at Sofia University through the analytical description of Sofia University’s online periodicals and the open access publication of all monographs, studies and articles by faculty and PhD students in its digital collections, as well as by assisting faculty in managing the publishing platforms for periodicals https://periodicals.uni-sofia.bg/ and https://annual.uni-sofia.bg/.
