On April 22nd, 2026, representatives of ProQuest held a training session at the Central University Library on how to use the ProQuest Central Premium platform, which is included in the national license of the Ministry of Education and Science. The session was attended by faculty members, PhD students, undergraduates and librarians from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” as well as library specialists from other university libraries.
The presenters placed emphasis on the specialized collections and the variety of sources that are accessible through the platform – books, newspapers, journals, articles, dissertations, conference materials, gray literature, as well as audio and video resources. An online demonstration of the search and filter options was carried out. The Research Assistant tool – based on artificial intelligence and available in Bulgarian – was also presented.
