The University Library organizes year-round in-person and online training courses in order to improve the information literacy of the students at Sofia University. Six online training courses are planned for the beginning of the academic year. They will include useful information on how to use the library`s electronic catalog & digital collections, and an introduction to the services and resources that are offered by the University Library. The aim of the training courses is to help students develop skills in searching for, evaluating, and using scientific information, and they are beneficial for both first-year students and all other students.
The training courses last one hour and will be held on:
• October 7 at 10:00 a.m.
• October 15 at 1:00 p.m.
• October 23 at 3:00 p.m.
• October 31 at 10:00 a.m.
• November 17 at 1:00 p.m.
• November 26 at 3:00 p.m.
