The collection includes particular periodical titles as well as some of the analytically described serials of Sofia University. Among the titles are – Izvestija na Seminara po slavyanska filologia pri Universiteta v Sofia, Izvestija na seminarite pri Istoriko-filologicheskija fakultet na Universiteta „Sveti Kliment Ohridski“, the journals Branilnik, Letostruy, Prometey, Hudozhnik, etc. Most of the titles have been digitized due to the growing interest of students. On the initiative of the Faculty of Theology and with the approval of the Holy Synod, the University Library has digitized the complete issues of the Tzarkoven vestnik from 1900 to 2019.
