The library was established in 1970 to provide service to students and professors living in Studentski Grad, Sofia (Student town). Its collections, consist of over 24,800 library items, mostly scholarly resources in all scientific fields, reference books, albums and fiction.
The library building was reconstructed and renovated in 2009. The library has 20 reading places, including 10 computerized workstations and offers all types of modern library and information services to its users from the Studentski Grad.
