Collection “Archive of Acad. Stoyan Argirov” is one of the first University Library’s collections. Acad. Stoyan Argirov is founder of the Bulgarian library science. He is the first director of the University Library and directed it for 36 years. He developed the library as a cultural and scientific institution. The collection “Archive of Acad. Stoyan Argirov” consists of three sub-collections – Acad. Argirov’ publications, manuscripts of lectures, and documentary photographs preserved at the main stacks of the University Library.
