Collection “Dissertation abstracts, defended at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” comprises books of abstracts of all dissertation thesis defended at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” from 2011 to the present. In compliance with the Rector’s Order, all Ph.D. students who defended their dissertation thesis at the University are obliged to submit a paper and an electronic copy of the abstract of their work to the library. The paper copies of dissertation abstracts are preserved at the main stacks of the Central University Library, and the electronic copies, at a specialized digital library collection. The collection “Dissertation abstracts, defended at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is divided on sub-collections following various university faculties and departments. This allows easier navigation and tracking the scientific interests of University researchers.
