Issuing remote access certificates (outside of the computer network of Sofia University)
Access to these resources is provided through additional individual registration, which is initially done on the Sofia University grounds. The registration is through an email and a personal password, henceforth all additional scientific resources can be accessed with the same profile. The Elsevier databases – Scopus and Science Direct are accessible with a single registration, made with an institutional email only. An update of the profile is required every six months on the Sofia University computer network.
Web of Science is a multidisciplinary citation platform, part of Clarivate. Includes indexed and cited publications from scientific journals, peer-reviewed journals, open access journals, monographs, collections, conference proceedings, patents, etc.
The platform covers the following additional scientometric resources: InCites, Journal Citation Reports, Essential Science Indicators, EndNote, Publons, Kopernio, Master Journal List.
Scopus is a multidisciplinary scientometric and bibliographic database of the Elsevier publishing group. Scopus comprises indexed and cited publications from peer-reviewed scientific journals, open access journals, monographs, collections, conference proceedings, patents, etc.
SciVal is a analytic database offering access to the results from scientific publications of over 20,000 science institutions and their researchers from 230 countries.
Science Direct is a multidisciplinary full-text database that covers scientific journals and parts of books in various scientific fiels. Science Direct includees publications from peer-reviewed journals, open access journals, parts of monographs and collections, conference proceedings, etc.
