The first-year students, who do not have an electronic card of the Sofia University have to register as library users at the beginning of the academic year. In order to obtain a library user card, students must present a valid student book and a color photo.
The registration of library users takes place in the Central University Library from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
The price of the user’s cards for students and faculty of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is 5 BGN. The library user’s card is valid for one calendar year, from the date of registration, and gives access to the Central University Library and all 28 branch libraries.
Sofia University students can borrow resources for home use only from the branch libraries. External users cannot borrow library materials for home use.
Users who do not belong to the academic community of Sofia University can register and use the resources provided by the Sofia University Library. They must provide a color photo. The price of the library card for external users is 15 BGN. The price of a one-day user’s card is 3 BGN.
