16th December 2024 marks the 90th anniversary of the ceremonial consecration of the buildings of the Rector’s Office and the University Library.
In the presence of Their Majesties the King and the Queen, ministers, diplomats, public figures and lecturers, the President of the Ephoria “Evlogy and Hristo Georgiev” prof. Yanaki Mollov (Minister of Education) handed over the keys of the University to the Rector prof. Vasil Mollov, who expressed his respect and gratitude to the memory of the “noble and generous” donators Evlogy and Hristo Georgiev.
To mark the occasion, an exhibition is arranged in the catalogue hall of the Central University Library. It contains photographs by Bozhidar Karastoyanov and Assoc. Prof. Vladislav Gospodinov, presenting the history of the first library building, which was declared a historical, architectural and cultural monument.
Visitors can enjoy the exhibition until 10 January 2025.
