The Medicine Library became a branch library within Sofia University Library Network in 2003, after the restoration of the Faculty of Medicine at Sofia University. The Lozenets Hospital Library’s collections formed the basis of the Medicine Library, which are enriched and supplemented by specialized literature in medical science and education. The library provides information and reference services to students and professors from the Faculty of Medicine as well as to Lozenets Hospital medical staff. The library collections consist of 18,000 items of books and serials, CDs, DVDs and specialized databases.The library has 38 reading places, including 6 computerized workstations.
